The Lover’s Creed

I believe in love, the power above all, first of all emotions, the Star in the shadows. I believe that all things come from love, and from love, all things come.

Even when hearts are broken and whole worlds that were once united are destroyed, I Still believe that there is more love for us in the world. From the first mother to the last child, generations and centuries over, love is what connects us. Like gravity holding the planets in the sky, love is what holds us together, as we spin across each other’s axes.

Despite heartbreak, and apathy, and hate and horror and shame and pain, I Still believe in love, despite, or maybe, because.

I believe that love is the truth. And like the truth, it can be covered, denied and lost, but never gone.

I believe that in the end, love is all we ever have, can hope for, can cherish, can make us whole.
