he stood alone in the room they had both shared. She had been with him through thick and thin. through everything and now…now it was nothing and she was gone. He had problems; he knew. she knew. he had made a lot of mistakes and said things he never should have said, done things…he never should have done.

but she had forgiven him and given him hope, that maybe he could be better. But that hope, like her, was gone. and he was left there in the empty room, staring at a bed made for two but would only, from now till the end, sleep one
